Phase 7

Reflection

The three sources that i will include in my Formal Analytical Report (FAR) are CBSnews.com, web.ebscohost .com, and 2facts.com. The reason i picked those three because CBSnews is one of the most trusted news channels, and well known in the world. The CBSnews source i found for this blog  gives examples of Vehicles that runs with back-up gasoline engines, for example; Chevrolet Volt which sold strongly than the pure electric vehicles such as the Nissan leaf. General Motors sold 1,760 Volts in June and 8,817 for the first half of the year, a 221% increase. While the Nissan Leaf sold 535 in June and 3,148 in the first half of 2012. this will help  me to provide the evidence on my FAR that Electric hybrid is more wanted in the market than pure electric.

The second source is ebscohost and it's a hacc database. I find so many articles on it and most of them are very effective and are proven by evidence and critical details. I am going to include most of my sources on the FAR from the hacc library databases because i find it educational and well trusted sources. and my third is 2facts which is an also a hacc database whic has articles that deal with issues & Controversies facts that will help me to state facts about the electric hybrid vehicles on my FAR.

My knowledge about the electric cars has changed about this topic, reading too many articles to choose the right one makes the reader more informed about the subject.i learned more that hybrid could really solve our gas and oil problems, at least decrease the amount of usage. also it would eliminate the CO and CO2 in the air that comes out of the car's exhaust.

The analytical question that guided me to write my FAR is, Why electric hybrid cars are the solution ?

The anaylitical question worked very well for me. first i started looking for the amount of oil we import and the usage of oil in the U.S. and from there i started relating the electric hybrid vehicles to the saving plan we could make on oil usage and importing it.

I didn't get a chance to do my blog 3 but i would've proved evidence about the oil prices. We pay high prices to get it from another countries and that's what causes the high prices we pay at the gas pump. America use only a little of its own oil production and doesn't share too much petroleum with other countries. They rather buy it now and care for using its own later when petroulem run slow in other countries then the United States will be the oil dominate. That's a hook up blog to relate the idea of hybrid as a solution for reducing oil usage. also hybrid r would reduce the amount of CO and CO2 and other chemicals in the air.
